SPACEBAR LIVE EVENT POSTER POSTER DESIGN
PROJECT OVERVIEW The local band Lustkill asked me to design a concert poster for their show at Spacebar. I sketched out some ideas based on the imagination of a child in different scenarios of play, and the band really liked the concept of the helmeted boy on a big-wheel flying through space while jet fighters shoot at him. I combined different stock images and edited them together adding the text in Adobe Photoshop. METHODOLOGY Designing this event poster was a lot of fun. I developed a concept based on the imagination of a child. Something everyone can relate to is how vivid our imaginations were as children. I used stock images to create a scene of a small boy wearing a football helmet riding a big wheel through space as he is being chased and shot at by space planes. The concept was fitting because the name of the music venue is called Spacebar. typography
