PROJECT OVERVIEW This digital illustration was done for the single album titled ...And Then There's You by The Out. The band asked me to design both the front and back cover for their 7" single. Both front and back cover were designed using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign.

METHODOLOGY Approaching this project of designing a cover for the 7" single for the band, I really wanted to connect the theme of the lyrics to the imagery. There is a lot of angst and dissonance in the feeling of this song and imagery of alcohol. I developed a concept of a breaking glass of red wine across a white background. The high contrast of the red and white also provided a great visual platform to show the splash of liquid and dimensions of broken glass. I chose Niagara Solid for the headers and all the body text for simplicity and consistency.
